  Hey I'm Laura. I live in an Ottawa apartment with my boyfriend Scott, 3 ferrets, and 3 cats. Obviously, I'm a huge animal lover. I'm a pretty shy person if I don't know you very well, but I will open right up if you give me the chance. I am a highly opinionated person, and have strong values and beliefs. However, I don't think I am too hard a person to get along with. I am honest, and I will tell you how I see it. I don't believe in beating around the bush.

*I am OBSESSED with cornchips and salsa... my ALL-TIME favourite snack.*
*I have night-blindness and cant see at all in the dark. I get really stressed out walking places at night, and always lag behind. I get stressed out going to the movies or to a bar/club becase I cant see inside. I get very nervous and embarassed when I go to the movies with someone I do not know well. I leave ALL the lights on in my house because I'm used to needling light to function. I have an extremely hard time adjusting to different lighting. If I walk into a dimmer place than I just was just in, I cant see anything at all for about 5 minutes. I hate unfamiliar places because if they are dark, I will not be able to find my way around.*

-It really annoys me when guys use stupid 'pet names' like "hun", "gorgeous", "sexy", "hottie", "cutie" and so on in substitution for my name. You don't know me, it makes no sense to be so endearing. You can by all means say you think I AM cute or whatever (everyone likes compliments) but when addressing me PLEASE use my name.-

The most common excuse for typing like that seems to be that it is "faster" or "easier". PLEEEEASE. You'd rather be able to say things faster than look like you have at least PART of a brain? Grow up already.-
