I'm pretty much the definition of an introvert. I'm private to the point of lunacy, I enjoy being alone, and I spend a hell of a lot more time thinking/observing than I do speaking. Because of this, people assume that I'm mysterious, boring, snobby, anti-social, or some combination thereof. I prefer boring personally. I fluctuate wildly between extreme cynicism and unfettered optimism, so depending on when you catch me, I can be brutally sardonic or, on rare occasion, actually quite pleasant. The fact that my sense of humor rests almost entirely on cynicism combined with my perpetual lack of sleep (read: grumpiness) means that a majority of the time I'm just unforgivingly cynical.
I'm left-handed and a tad eccentric, and I pride myself on being able to open a child-resistant medicine bottle with my toes. I am a full-fledged science geek, and I truly wish that "mad scientist" were a viable career option. I hope it's obvious that I get far too much enjoyment out of Star Wars (and other equally geeky things - with the exception of superhero/comic book crap, UGH). I play WoW, and I have finally reached the point where I am comfortable admitting this publicly (draenei paladin, ty). In college I majored in bio with minors in chem & psych, and these days I'm simply trying to survive my second year of med school.
