Winterscape Sun
The snow
is set aglow
with sunlight,
throwing shadows
from trees
across white expanse
like deep blue ink
on canvas.
Naked branches
shiver against
cold, blue sky
and icy water
drips
slowly,
lit gems falling
in afternoon sun.

-never lose the passion
-go to a Linkin Park concert
-go to a live comedy show like Dane Cook
-go skinnydipping
-visit Germany, maybe become fluent auf Deutsch
-have a well attended gallery show of my work
-marry happily
-become a mother
-publish something amazing that makes a best sellers list
-get drunk, just to see what I’m like lol
-go white water rafting
-sing a duet karaoke style with a guy who has a good voice
(i’m thinkin, “Broken” by Seether and Amy Lee)
-sing alone, in front of an audience and not mess up
-go on a spontaneous adventure and return in an exhilarated mess
-be romanced
-become a rockstar
-watch a sunset with the one I love (yea i know...typical)
-hug a stranger
-grab a chance by it’s throat
-inspire someone
-go to a wedding
-throw a microwave off a bridge in a fit of rage
-accidentally ruin a fancy dress then laugh because it doesn’t matter
-break into a spontaneous dance sequence in a public place
-score a breakaway goal (soccer)
-hook up in an elevator
-be saved
